About Me
It all started when…
Growing up in a small town in Colorado, I always loved film. From a young age, it became my way of learning about the world. Pursuing that love, I received my BFA in Creative Producing from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts before going on to receive my master’s in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University. Yay, school!
My first chance to stretch my film wings came in creative programming and acquisitions at Lionsgate’s Tribeca Shortlist, a streaming service committed to handpicking the best movies. I later joined the team at Giant Interactive to help develop Giant Pictures, a digital distribution company focused on creative distribution strategies for independent filmmakers. While there, I acquired and optimized the distribution and marketing strategies for more than 100 feature films, including the beloved Anton Yelchin documentary ‘Love, Antosha’ (Sundance 2019) and ‘Matangi/Maya/M.I.A.’ (Sundance 2018).
In 2020 I joined the Tribeca Film Festival as an Associate Programmer and Industry Coordinator, not only showcasing great films to screen at the festival but also helping filmmakers find the right distribution partner. In addition to festival work, I offered distribution and marketing consultation services for filmmakers navigating the world of distribution, providing marketing guidance, sales, and overall strategy - and during a global pandemic. I then made my way to the affiliate distribution department at STARZ where I trained CSRs on how to sell STARZ to customers and implemented POS strategies to maximize revenue and subscriber growth on DIRECTV and Dish. Most recently, I joined the domestic distribution team at Lionsgate selling content to TV and digital platforms - a dream job!
At the end of the day, I am fulfilled being on a team that helps bring powerful stories to wider audiences! I’m always thrilled to connect with others who share my passion for storytelling and cultural change.
